Between sea and sierra, desert and greenhouses, traditions and progress, virgin space and factories, intensive farming and natural park, Carboneras and the Campo de Nijar are the image of the changing world. I have been traveling through this eastern part of Andalusia for 50 years, I see its changes, its progress for the inhabitants formerly condemned to exile, its excesses and this waste of fauna and flora that a few combative "Verdes" try to protect. Everything mixes together as I stay, time does not have the same duration and the space still preserved in places takes me back years or decades. This is why I have not presented this series chronologically, but rather as a patchwork of memories of a place outside the usual landmarks, where the logic of modern life leaves space for daydreaming.
