Human nature

In Provence, where I live, the first traces of man date back almost 10,000 years.
Farmers then practiced slash and burn to raise sheep. The current forests and scrubland are entirely shaped by the influence of man. The return to "Nature" has become an artificial concept, the current nature having had nothing natural for millennia.
These images taken over time document the possibility of a just balance
where everyone can find their place.
